My name is Joanne McMahon, and since 1995, I have worked with over a thousand families to prepare their children for school through effective early childhood learning strategies. As a former Kindergarten teacher, I left the classroom to focus on empowering families and caregivers with the foundations learning skills they need to support their children's success. Known for my straightforward, fun, and practical teaching style, I provide parents and caregivers with the tools to help their children develop preschool readiness skills and ease into school life, emphasizing the importance of learning through play and incorporating preschool learning at home.

My daughter C thoroughly enjoyed her Busy Bees class! She was engaged and excited throughout the whole session, which emphasized early childhood learning through play. As a parent, I found it very insightful and it provided me with numerous ideas for incorporating literacy, numeracy, and both gross and fine motor skills into our preschool learning at home. These are all foundational learning skills I hadn't even considered before. Following the session, she continued to do some of the activities from class for almost an hour afterward, which really supports her preschool readiness skills!
